In VALIDATE Weekly Round up Number 133 we celebrate our final Summer Seminar and you will find the usual updates, events, and opportunities. 

VALIDATE Summer Seminar - Efforts to understand the immunology of bovine TB: VALIDATE Member joined Bernardo Villarreal-Ramos and Amanda Gibson from the University of Aberystwyth to ask them detailed questions about their presentations. This rounds up a series of 4 Summer Seminars that started back in July. You can watch all 4 seminars, including Bernardo and Amanda's, by first logging on to WebLearn and then loading the Panopto folderMembers can also request access to the VALIDATE Seminar Google Drive folder (please include your full name and institution on the request note). 

We hope to have a series of online events over the summer so if you have anything to present or would like to request a topic, email us - validate@ndm.ox.ac.uk.

The Newton Fund tweeted a reminder about the Newton-Mosharafa PhD Programme, The Union put out a last call for their Online World Conference, and the EDCTP published their August 2020 Update. The Stop TB Partnership welcome USAID’s new End TB Campaign Ambassador in the Philippines and Nature Careers asked “Do scientists have a duty to combat fake news?”.
