Biography:
I completed my BSc and MSc studies at the University of Buea, Cameroon. For my MSc studies which was defended in 2012, I worked on the assessment of purified excretory products from Onchocerca ochengi as potential vaccine candidates against onchocerciasis. I got a scholarship to study at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium where I worked on the development of a potential diagnostic tool and the in-silico design of a chimeric epitope-based vaccine candidate for onchocerciasis. I defended my PhD in December 2018.
I am currently working on the immunological assessment of the chimeric vaccine I designed during my PhD studies. I have a keen interest in the computational design and development of chimeric vaccines for infectious diseases and also on the effects of nematode infections in the efficacy of vaccines.
