Biography:

Amanda is a Lecturer Innate Immunology at Aberystwyth University. Amanda's research interests lie in underpinning early events required for establishing infection; the interaction between mycobacteria and host cells, particularly with the innate immune system at the point of recognition and uptake and initial responses leading to disease.
