Biography:

I am an associate scientist with MRC/UVRI Uganda Research Unit and also a MUII-Plus (Makerere University/ UVRI centre for Excellence in Infection and immunity Research and Training) Fast Track Masters Fellow, offering MSc Immunology and Clinical Microbiology at Makerere University. I have a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology, awarded in January 2014, Makerere University. Since 2014, I have worked as a laboratory technologist in the Immunomodulation and Vaccines programme, MRC/UVRI Uganda Research Unit. I have great interest in the study of tuberculosis, a disease which represents a major burden to health care in Africa. I am particularly interested in solving the problem of waning efficacy of anti-Tuberculosis vaccines and contributing to the discovery of an effective vaccine against tuberculosis.
