The Lancet Public Health seeks a Senior Editor (SE). The Lancet Public Health an open access monthly journal committed to publishing peer-reviewed Research Articles, Editorials, Comments, and Correspondence that contribute to advancing public health and policy-making worldwide. They seek a full-time member of staff to help the Editor-in-Chief oversee day-to-day journal management.
Responsibilities will include arranging peer review, commissioning, writing, and other activities involved in producing an online journal to a monthly schedule. The SE will also be required to handle papers for the other open access titles in the group as required. Some foreign travel will be required.
Candidates for the role will ideally have an MD or a PhD (in a relevant discipline). Previous editorial experience is desirable and research experience in public health or related area would be an advantage.
