The Fogarty HIV-associated TB Training Program is offering a 3-day interactive workshop from 25 to 27 January 2019 at the Faculty of Health Sciences. The three-day program will include presentations on writing grant applications and scientific manuscripts. A substantial component of the program will be dedicated to reviewing draft grant applications or scientific papers submitted by the attendees.

Eligibility:
- UCT based, limited to 20 participants
- Researchers who submit a draft manuscript or grant application of minimum 10 pages
- Preference will be given to researchers in HIV-TB field but applications are encouraged from researchers in other fields
- Applicants must be prepared to give a PowerPoint presentation of their project
- Applicants will receive material to review 2 weeks ahead of the workshop
- Minimum 10-page draft grant application or manuscript must be sent to the faculty by 7 January 2019
