Research Keywords: TB, HIV, human, T cells, immune response Biography: My research focuses on the immunology of HIV-associated tuberculosis (TB): broadly, the inflammatory and cellular correlates of disease severity and treatment outcome in HIV co-infected TB patients; and specifically, the effect of antiretroviral treatment on the immune response to tuberculosis in HIV-1 co-infected persons in order to elucidate Protective and Pathogenic immune mechanisms in HIV associated Tuberculosis.
