I am a postdoctoral researcher at Dunn School of Pathogy investigating the heterogeneity of malignant nerve sheath tumours (MPNSTs). I obtained my DPhil from Jesus College, University of Oxford in 2015 where I developed a special interest in understanding cancer mechanisms. During my study I worked on different models of intestinal cancer (murine models, organoids and cell lines) with different genes (Smad4, Cdh1, and Igf2r). Following the completion of my DPhil, I joined the Ludwig institute-Oxford for three years as a postdoctoral researcher studying adrenocortical carcinoma where I gained further experience in cancer genomics and bioinformatics. During 2020-21, I worked as a computational biologist at the VALIDATE/ Jenner Institute, primarily focusing on characterizing the immune responses among volunteers who received BCG vaccine using single cell RNA-seq of cells from BAL fluid.
