Biography: I am a PhD student at Aberystwyth University, working in collaboration with APHA to investigate the use of omic approaches M. bovis infection with cattle. Mainly focusing on metabolomics and lipidomics we are aiming to examine host response to infection and identify key metabolic pathways involved, identification of potential biomarker candidates and whether such markers can be useful in differentiation of infection from vaccination.
