It's an exciting time for VALIDATE as we welcome new members of our team and thank those who are moving on. 

The Management Team

VALIDATE would like to offer a huge thank you to Prof Helen Fletcher for all her work making VALIDATE what it is today as Co-Director since 2017. Helen will remain an integral part of VALIDATE as an Investigator.

Highlights on Twitter this week:

In light of the recent increase in global tuberculosis deaths, we shared an important article about the need for an ambitious TB recovery plan and a piece about a recent US Melioidosis outbreak tied to scent bottles (another piece being shared by member Alfredo Torres).  Oxford Immunotech shared a video about how vaccines work, Nature careers continued their All About Mentoring series with a podcast episode “How COVID-19 changed scientific mentoring”, and WritethatPhD shared a framework to help doctoral students understand examiner expectations.
